Still Snowing in March!
We keep getting these snow and rain storms about once per week. This picture taken out of the upstairs PC room toward the coldesac at the end of the street. It starts off with snow and then changes to rain, which in turn melts the snow. Strange.

End of the line - Start a new one
It took much longer to switch jobs with only one week of no work in between, and that week is because PNC Bank lawyers scrutinized the contract from my last employer to death.
But now it is all legal and I start on Monday!
I'm already listed in their intranet directory and I already have a PFPC ID card!!
I am one of three IT Technicians working for PFPC in Lynnfield (only 8 miles from Salem) with a title of PC Desktop Support Technician, Sr.

Frozen in our tracks
I always knew that cool wing on the back of the
Thunderbird would come in handy one day.
Found our tree at WALMART! $15... what a deal
We unwrapped it and let it naturally expand
Thanks Mom for the Thanksgiving Turkey Cookies!!!
A few days later a bitter freeze froze ice all over the land... and cars too!

Gearing up......
Okay winter is really here now so we bought a ¼ cord of wood.
It filled the shed out back. We are gearing up for a big storm to hit this weekend.
With lows in the high 20s and highs in the low 40s we are sure
to receive our first snow in Salem.

The First Snow
The first snow of the 2007 season has fallen on November 20th, 2007. The temperature in Westborough (where I work most of the time) is always 8 degrees colder than Salem so it is no surprise that it would snow here first.
This may look like a construction site but it is the front entrance to the PFPC building.
Re-paving the cracking sidewalks has taken far too long and now it is too late.
Winter has arrived!

Tavern On The Water
Today I drove Claire to work down by the U.S.S. Constitution at 7am in the morning. This is the famous Tavern on the Water Restaurant down by the Boston Harbor. Of course that's Boston in the background.
